Patagonia on your own

Arrival to the city of El Calafate. Car rental for 8 days at the airport . Departure to the town of El Chaltén, at a distance of 240 kilometres from the airport. On the way you will enjoy with the views of the east bank of the Argentino and Viedma lakes, being able to make out its namesake glacier in the distance. Arrival to El Chalten. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Day at leisure to enjoy the place. We suggest travel 37 kms to the border with Chile ( gravel road ) to Lago del Desierto. The route, which border the Rio de las Vueltas that as we approach the lake gradually becomes more transparent, we can see the imposing Cerro Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. Arriving at Lago del Desierto, free time to make the ascent in the middle of forests to the Glacier Huemul, which falls on a small lake imposing intense blue color. It is one of the most beautiful Patagonian landscapes. Return to El Chalten where we then be able to make the trekk of 2 hours duration to the viewpoint of the Condors. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Morning at leisure to make the trek to Laguna Capri, from where you can get a magnificent view of Mount Fitz Roy. Then, in the afternoon, will drive to the town of El Calafate by your own. Accommodation.

Breakfast. By your own, you will drive 80 kilometres up to Los Glaciares National Park. Once you enter, you will have all the day to explore the walkways and enjoy the view of the glacier. In the afternoon, we will include a boat ticket to sail up to the south wall of Perito Moreno Glacier. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Out along Route 40 to the border with Chile. Once logged in Chilean territory, you will drive 1 hour and half up to Laguna Amarga, the north entrance of the Torres del Paine National Park. From here, you can stop with the car at major scenic spots of the place, such as the Salto Grande, Los Cuernos, Lake Pehoe, until you reach the Villa Serrano, where we stay. Accommodation.

Breakfast. In the morning, you will drive 45 minutes to reach the coast of Grey Glacier, where you will have free time for a walk along the lake´s coast from where you can enjoy the Grey Glacier. In the afternoon, free time to continue touring other parts of the park, or visit the Milodon Cave. Accommodation in Villa Serrano.

Breakfast. Departure to El Calafate. After 5-6 hours trip, you must drop off the car in the airport and take the return flight.
